Accounting Accounts

Accounting accounts are the main asset classification in the system, representing the fixed asset accounting categories.

List​

The screen displays all registered accounting accounts with:

  • Account code
  • Description
  • Depreciation type
  • Default depreciation rate
  • Number of associated assets

Register Account​

  1. Click + New Account
  2. Fill in:
    • Code — Accounting code for the account
    • Description — Name of the accounting account
    • Depreciation Rate — Default annual percentage
  3. Click Save

Edit Account​

  1. Click on the desired account in the list
  2. Change the necessary fields
  3. Click Save
caution

Changing the depreciation rate of an account does not affect already registered assets. The new rate will only apply to new assets.
