Resume Depreciation

This module allows you to manage asset depreciation calculation and resume depreciation that has been suspended.

Depreciation​

Depreciation is calculated automatically based on the rates configured for each asset. The system supports the straight-line depreciation method.

How it works​

  • Depreciation is calculated monthly when advancing the period
  • The calculation considers: original value, depreciation rate and acquisition date
  • Fully depreciated assets do not generate new values

Check depreciation​

  1. Go to Operations → Depreciation/Resume
  2. View assets with pending or ongoing depreciation
  3. Check the depreciation value calculated for the current period

Resume Depreciation​

The resume feature allows you to reactivate depreciation for assets that had their calculation suspended.

  1. Locate the asset with suspended depreciation
  2. Click Resume Depreciation
  3. Confirm the operation

Resuming depreciation uses the original rate configured on the asset. If you need to change the rate, edit the asset record before resuming.
